William "Gerard" Hoy

Gerard Hoy- Wynantskill

Gerard Hoy,76, passed away on July 26,2022. Jerry was born in Watervliet and raised in Troy.   He was the son of the late William and Frances Hoy.   Jerry was a graduate of Troy High School and was employed for many years at Grand Union and then at Price Chopper.

He is survived by his brother David (Barbara) Hoy and nieces Julie Hoy and Katie (Corey) Dooley.

The family would like to thank Barbara and Laurie of St. Jude’s Apartments in Wynantskill for their support and also Community Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, 510 Pawling Avenue, Troy on Friday July 29, 2022, 10-11:30am. A brief service will follow the visitation. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy immediately following.
