SUSAN F. MOORE

Troy – Susan F. Moore passed away peacefully on February 6, 2022.  A daughter of the late Eldon B. and Frances L. Pullar and wife of Donald Moore, Susan was a long time Troy resident prior to moving to Florida.

Susan graduated from Catholic Central High School, Class of 1962, and retired from NYS Tax Compliance as a supervisor in Albany, NY. Susan loved photography, Disney, and travel. On a trip to Alaska Susan was able to enjoy a dog sled ride, fulfilling a long-time dream! She loved her fur babies, Bingo, Lacy and her husband’s guide dogs. Sue loved spending time with her family and dear friends. Despite her disability being an amputee, she never let that define her as a person.  She was a compassionate and loving person and always put others first. Sue loved sending greeting cards for special occasions and never missed a special occasion, not an easy task with our large family!  We will all miss those cards that brightened our days. Not having children herself, her nieces and nephews where like her very own and God blessed her with many.

In addition to her husband Donald, Sue is survived by her siblings: Cindy A. Cook (Walter) and James E. Pullar (Doris); brother in law Jack Roulier, nieces & nephews: Wayne G. Roulier, Dawn M. Nichols (Harry), Don P. Roulier (Shane), Michelle L. Roulier, Eric T. Roulier (Nicole), Walter “Skip” S. Cook IV, Justin P. Cook (Stephanie), Colleen M. Cook D.V.M,  Jamie L. Dwyer (Sean), J. Scott Pullar, Greg A. Pullar;  24 grand nieces and nephews and the sunshine of her life forever: Brittney E. Pullar and little sunshine Shawn Levi Morales.  Sue was also survived by13 great grandnieces and grandnephews; many cousins and dear friends who were very loved. In addition to her parents, Sue was predeceased by her sister, Nancy L Roulier and her nephews Shawn L. Pullar. and Steven T. Roulier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church, Spring Avenue, Troy. Burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with Sue’s family on Tuesday from 8:30 -10:00 a.m. in the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, Troy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sue's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Freedomguidedogs.com would be appreciated.
