Miriam T. McMahon

Troy – Miriam T. McMahon passed away peacefully on April 15, 2022.  Miriam was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Riley and was the wife of the late Edward McMahon. Nanny was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family, both close and extended.

Miriam is survived by her children, Daniel (Linda) McMahon and Theresa (Daniel) Sulllivan; grandchildren Meghan (Jordan) Maynard, Kyle (Taylor) McMahon, Danielle McMahon, Daniel (Liz) Sullivan and Kellie (Ben) Sonberg; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank Community Hospice and the staff on A3, Van Rensselaer Manor for the kind and compassionate care provided to Miriam and her family. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Augustine’s Church, 25 115^th Street, Troy, NY.  Friends are invited to visit with Miriam’s family on Thursday, 5-7pm in the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral home, 510 Pawling Ave., Troy NY.  Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Schaghticoke. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Miriam’s memory to The Van Rensselaer Manor, 85 Bloomingrove Drive, Troy NY 12180, would be appreciated.
