John C. Lillis

John "Jack" Lillis, of North Greenbush passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025. He was 92 years old. Born on February 18, 1933, in Troy, New York, Jack was the son of the late Christopher Lillis and Helen (Ormsby) Lillis.

He grew up in Troy and remained deeply connected to the Capital Region throughout his life. Jack dedicated many years of service to Al Tech Specialty Steel in Watervliet, NY before retiring.

Jack is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Biittig) Lillis; daughters Jackie Lamere, Barbara Silvestro and Sandra Lillis; sons Christopher Lillis, John F. Lillis, Martin Lillis, and Anthony Lillis and several loving nieces. Jack's family was a central part of his life, and he cherished the time spent with each of them.

In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by his sister Marilyn Welch and brothers Gerald J. Lillis and Edward "Ned" Lillis. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Jack November 18 at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Church 310 Spring Avenue Troy. The Rite of Committal and interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Troy.
